01.01.09

2009 is going to be one of those years in my life. Its going to be one of those years that helps to define the next 6 or 7 in my life. I don’t want to sound over-dramatic, but there are going to be some big changes in life. This year, I wanted to be ready. I wanted to lay the groundwork to give myself an opportunity to truly make some changes. So, It is with all this in mind that I have chosen MyOneWord for 2009:

Attention – the regarding of something as important or valuable.

I think that this fits in the places where I need to grow. I’ve always valued things and seen why or how things were important, but I never acted like it. I have never pursued or given the extra effort towards the things I held in high regard. 2009 is going to be a year when I decide to give my attention to the places in my life where I need to grow. I think its going to be a big eye opener about what happens when you give your full attention to things.

Here’s to 2009 and to being fully into whatever your doing. To giving your attention to your growth.
