One of the things I want to do this year is to read at least one book a month. I started to think about it, and here are the books I’m hoping to get through this year (in this particular order):

**Revised (2/10/09)**

  • Crazy Love – Chan
  • Desiring God – Piper
  • The Pursuit of God – Tozer
  • Vintage Jesus – Driscoll
  • The Weight of Glory – Lewis
  • The Reason for God – Keller
  • Lit – Edwards
  • Rumors – Yancey
  • Letter to a Christian Nation – Harris
  • The End of Reason – Zacharias
  • Prayer – Foster
  • Bondage of the Will – Luther
  • Miracles – Lewis
  • The Knowledge of the Holy – Tozer
  • The Jesus I Never Knew – Yancey
  • Mere Christianity – Lewis

I’d love to hear suggestions if you got some.

Well, it seems that the first thing to go when life gets busy and stressful is the blog. And what do you know, that seems to be just the case. It’s like I turned my head and it was exam time. I’ve gotten all my grades back and its been one of my best semesters, which helps.

I’ve also been busy with Tsunami, Ripple Effect, & Overflow, which is my favorite kind of busy. I’ve been fortunate enough to get some time recently to meet more with my Small Group guys, as well as bring a new fella in. We got to help out with the Angel Tree deal with Overflow this past week by delivering some gifts to some kids who were potentially not gonna get a Christmas. Its always great to see kids smile like they did.

I’m headin up Thursday to be with SB and her family. I’m definitely looking forward to that. We’re also going to head to Boone for a day to meet up with my family, including my Pop (grandfather). It’s gonna be a boss time in a sweet cabin somewhere in the woods. Pretty stoked.

As for music, now that exams are over, I’ve been able to focus just a little more on writing. Hopefully, once things settle down a little, I’ll be able to devote a little more time.

I do love all this extra time, but it wreaks havoc on my Bible study time. Whenever I don’t have a normal schedule, I have a hard time settling into it. However, I have been processing some things that I’ve been wanting to focus on somethings about myself that I want to work on and grow in . . . but more on that later.

Well, thats about it. Hopefully, I’ll be able to hang around here a little more coming up. Probably not until I get back from SB’s. Hope your holiday season is getting started right and that things are sweet. Until next time,

One.Love
