113:. Rock, Paper, Scissors

April 9th, 2008  |  Published in Entertainment  |  9 Comments

I read this post not too long ago. This guy is hilarious, but he makes a good point. I think that there are too many versions of RPS floating around. I’ve heard the whole bear, hunter, woman version. Lame. And there’s so many additions to the old school game, such as a bomb or maybe a tidal wave. Also lame. But on the most universal problem that I’ve come across is when to shoot. I mean I’m pretty sure that everyone, since the beginning of time has done this . . .

Rock . . .

Paper . . .

Scissors . . .

SHOOT!

Right? I mean I thought it was pretty known by all. When we were trying to figure out who was gonna drive to the show the other nice, so Rich proposed RPS. Theo and I agreed that it is indeed the most fair way to decide.

{Justice Update!!!}[Rich corrected me that it was indeed Theo who had the wacked out idea that we do not shoot after three but on three. We poked fun for his use of illegitimate and incorrect west coast rules. The right side is always right. All apologies to Rich and his commitment to keeping the game true to form. Kudos, sir.]

However, Theo was adamant about battling like this . . .

One . . .

Two . . .

SHOOT!

Blasphemy! I mean come on, what kind of busch league antics was he trying to pull? What do you think?

Be heard!

I personally love the woman, bear, hunter version and take offense to you calling it lame… not ok

I’m disturbed and disgusted by this. I will probably write a strongly-worded letter about it to someone… anyone… who might be willing to take a stand against this offense.

Rich is a “decorative wrist cuff” - wearing girl. So we can therefore ignore anything he says. One, two, three, shoot it is.

    WHAT THE HECK?!?!

First of all… that was Theo! Remember, we teased him about his backwards West Coast rules? Everyone knows its, “One, Two, Three… shoot!” A correction is warranted here.

Finally, I want to know why Tom is so seemingly put-off by my fashion choices… can someone help me here? If anyone wants to know what I think, it is starting to get tired.

    One, Two, Three

Just like any other competitive event.

Rich - As long as you keep wearing it, we will keep making fun of you.

Holy Justice Richard! You are completely correct. This will be rectified immediately. Theo needs a blog so we can rag on him now. Rich, make him do it as a part of his job!

on the streets in la you dont have the time, nea, luxury, of a “one, two, three, shoot”. all you get is one and two and if you dont have your piece ready its over for you. just want you guys to be in the know thats all. wouldnt want anyone getting hurt out there.
